Hello

Hi – I hope you had a wonderful time over Christmas? Have you recovered from the food hangover yet? I’m still getting there…I think baby has doubled in size since Christmas day (!!).

Our Christmas holiday was was spent down at our family bach (holiday house) in the Marlborough Sounds and was filled with kayaking, water fights, table tennis, gift unwrapping, drawing, card games (in particular, Ligretto – have you played this before? It’s a new favourite of mine), walks on the beach and in the bush. A little different to our winter Christmases spent in Europe over the last couple of years!

How did you spend yours?

Christmas day already seems so far away, so thought I would relive the day and share these photos with you –

Here’s what we had on our table down at the bach for Christmas lunch:

We started the day with Croissants and Christmas Czech bread.

Then moved onto an array of snacks (which I forgot to photograph) before moving on to our lunch – a banquet of sushi, salads, barbecued Salmon, chicken, fried risotto balls, roast vegetables and roast beef…

…and of course dessert where we had pavlova, my easy lemon cheesecake, berry tart, fresh berries and cream.

I’m looking forward to sharing more recipes with you in 2017!!

Happy New Year to you.x
