  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa

  • 1 grated pear or apple
  • Honey/maple syrup to taste optional

Instructions

  • In a medium sized bowl, mix together the rolled oats, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cocoa and coconut and until well combined.
  • Add the milk and grate pear( or apply) and mix well.
  • Spoon mixture into mason jars or any container with a lid and place in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours or even better, overnight.
  • Top with coconut, yoghurt and fruit (or any other desired topping).

Notes

* Add more milk to get desired consistency.
* If you are in need of something hot, this bircher muesli is also delicious when heated in a pan/microwave.
